The afternoon fun continues until 8 p.m. with headline performances at the Old Colony House stage by Blues Legend James Montgomery, Ryan Lee Crosby and twilight sets by Steve Smith and The Nakeds.
It is strongly encouraged that guests walk, bike, or take the bus to the Street Fair. For those that do intend to drive, note that Broadway will be open to pedestrian traffic only. No parking will be available on Broadway. There will be handicap accessible parking close to the route. All are welcome for a planning meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and for volunteer orientation on Wednesday, Oct. 9, both at 6 p.m. at the Newport Police Station community room, 120 Broadway, Newport.
