“From Pollution to Solution”
The Textile Sustainability Forum on September 19th at URI (presented by RITIN, URI & Polaris MEP) will bring together stakeholders from academia, industry, and government, and present new research about sustainability and the textile industry.
For DESIGN WEEK RI, a dynamic panel of experts will come together at Innovate Newport to discuss taking the research and moving it forward into actionable steps for the future, focusing on ocean health and sustainability. Hear about ways in which companies are using recycled plastics from the ocean to create innovative textile materials and products. This discussion will focus on solutions and will leave the audience inspired and empowered to bring about change.
