Intro to SBA Export Financing Program

This webinar will provide an overview of SBA’s Office of International Trade’s three export loan programs and services, including Export Express, Export Working Capital Program and International Trade Loans.

SBA’s export loan programs are specifically designed to help small businesses to be more competitive in global markets. These programs provide small businesses with several advantages, including the ability to extend payment terms to overseas buyers, issue stand-by letters of credit to secure export contracts and to monetize export working assets which are typically considered ineligible by lenders.

The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) will also be discussed which is a reimbursable grant program that helps small businesses to begin exporting, find new markets or expand export sales in existing markets. STEP grants help small businesses to offset eligible export-related expenses.
